We have to make this a contingent award, since depending on which side you believe, the Dridiot of the Month award could be given to either:
Drone Pilot: I was flying high over the crowd and when I was trying to land my drone a guy on the beach threw his shirt up and crashed my drone. "He did $750 in damage to my quad copter, and that's my livelihood," said the pilot. "I'm in a world of hurt right now. I really am." (Did you have a 333?). OK, if we believe the pilot, the guy on the beach gets the award.
Guy on Beach. Some pervert was flying his drone over our group and it was so low I threw my shirt and hit the drone. If we believe guy on beach, the drone pilot gets the award.
What do I think? Why was drone pilot trying to land in a crowd when the safest thing would have been to fly away from the crowd and land in an uncrowded location? If there was no uncrowded location, why did he fly in the first place? Why did he not land over his own head and do an air-grab?
Drone Pilot definitely has the inside track on the Dridiot of the Month award here.
